Anthony Bedward Therapy
My name is Anthony Bedward, and I’m a BACP-registered psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I specialise in supporting individuals through experiences of trauma, loss, identity struggles, and emotional pain—particularly men who find it difficult to speak out.
My journey into therapy was born from both personal experience and a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s toughest moments. Through A2btherapy, I aim to create a space where people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, honest, and ultimately empowered.

Therapeutic Services at A2btherapy
Trauma and abuse recovery
For those who have experienced trauma or abuse, seeking a safe and supportive space to process, heal, and rebuild trust. Together, we can explore the impact of past experiences, reduce feelings of shame or isolation, and work toward restoring a sense of safety and resilience.
Men’s mental health
For those who may feel unable to speak out, offering a non-judgmental space to share struggles and find healthier ways forward. Many men carry unspoken pressures or feel they must “cope alone,” and therapy provides the opportunity to break that silence, build self-awareness, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.
Identity and self-worth
For those struggling with self-doubt or uncertainty, supporting the journey toward self-acceptance and confidence. By exploring identity, values, and personal strengths, therapy can help individuals develop a clearer sense of self and build a healthier relationship with who they are.
Separation and fatherhood
For those navigating separation or changes in family life, offering guidance to maintain connection and purpose in parenting. Together, we can explore the challenges of co-parenting, emotional adjustment, and supporting children’s wellbeing while also caring for your own.
Emotional regulation and anxiety
For those feeling overwhelmed by emotions or anxiety, providing tools to regain calm, clarity, and balance. Through self-awareness, coping strategies, and compassionate support, therapy can help reduce distress and foster greater control over emotional experiences.
Working with athletes and performers
For those in sport or performance settings, supporting mental resilience, focus, and wellbeing under pressure. Therapy can help manage performance anxiety, overcome setbacks, and strengthen the balance between personal life and competitive demands.
